Social Media 101 – Why? Which Ones? What to Say? – Plus Personal Facebook Privacy

Are you already using social media for marketing?  Or are you thinking about it, but feel overwhelmed and not sure where to start?  Or are you not convinced it’s even worthwhile?  We’ll take a look at the 5 biggest social networks – Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and Pinterest – and help you find out what’s right – or not – for your business or organization.

Here’s what this session will cover:

  • The value of social media to reach current customers and drive repeat business,
How social media can lead to new customers,
Crafting a basic strategy for social media offers and promotions,
What, when, and how often to post on social networks,
How to use social media without going crazy,
In-depth look at Facebook for business, recent changes on this network, and VERY IMPORTANT info about Facebook personal privacy – because most people get this wrong and don’t even know how it makes them – and their friends – vulnerable!
