Chamber to Present 'Leading with Influence'
Christine Kennedy, IOM, CPC, ELI-MP, President and Leadership and Life Purpose Coach, Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, will be in Danville on October 27th, 2015 to present a workshop on the topic of Leading with Influence.
The event will be held at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (150 Slayton Avenue). Registration begins at 8:00a.m. The program will run from 8:30a.m. to Noon. There is a registration fee of $59/person for Chamber members and $69/person for non-members. Organizations sending three or more attendees will receive a price break of $49/person. Registration is required and includes a continental breakfast.
In this course participants will be inspired to lead with influence and learn the skills necessary to lead self and teams and not just manage projects. The curriculum will help attendees think about their influence and ability to lead and will provide foundational practices to employ daily to lead effectively. Attendees will walk away with a greater understanding of the need for personal growth as a leader, the power of influence, and how to positively impact the workplace. Additionally, using principles from several well-known leadership publications, participants will create a personal action plan to begin their journey from manager to quality leader.
