Chamber of Commerce Announces New Employees
The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recent addition of three new employees.
Amy Boles has joined the Chamber as Tourism Coordinator. In this role, she will develop and implement a tourism marketing plan for the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County. Boles previously served as Web and Publications Specialist for James City County and has also worked at the Danville Welcome Center. She brings experience in tourism, marketing, journalism, design, and photography. She is an alumna of Averett University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies, journalism.
Trina McLaughlin has joined the Chamber as Program Manager. McLaughlin will be responsible for planning and implementing leadership development programs for the Chamber as well as other forums, seminars and workshops. She joins the Chamber team from CIT Group where she was a Cash Application Specialist. McLaughlin brings over 20 years experience in operations management, finance, leadership development and event planning. McLaughlin served in the United States Army and currently serves on several boards including I AM S.A.R.A.H. and the Danville Utilities Commission. The current chair of the River District Festival, McLaughlin also coaches cheerleading at George Washington High School and is a current Middle Border Fellow.
Allison Moore has joined the Chamber as Business Services Manager. In this role, she will connect the business community of the City of Danville as well as Pittsylvania County with business and workforce resources helpful to their advancement and growth. Previously, the Director of Marketing and Communications for American National Bank and Trust Company, Moore has 18 years of marketing, communications and business experience. During her career, she has worked for multiple industries, including print journalism, manufacturing, education and finance. She is an alumna of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (now the School of Media and Journalism) at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
