Annual Membership Meeting

The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Membership Business Breakfast on January 29.  During the meeting, the 2007 Chair, David Bennett of Intertape Polymer Group, and the 2008 Chair, Roger Gillispie of Virginia Bank & Trust, gave remarks.  Bennett highlighted the accomplishments of the past year, while Gillispie focused on the goals for the upcoming year.

The following directors, whose terms expired at the end of 2007, were recognized:
Tal Nowell of Times Fiber Communications
Anil Patel, formerly of Stratford Inn
Kelvin Perry of First State Bank
Warren Pettis of Piedmont Mall

In addition, Gillispie presented a plaque to Bennett as the outgoing chair.
