Office Manager/Executive Assistant
A native of Hurt, Donna Ashworth joined the Chamber in June 2001. A Summa cum Laude graduate of Danville Community College, Donna earned an A.A.S. degree in Administrative Support Technology. Before joining the chamber and graduating DCC, Donna worked for 15 years at Bassett-Walker in Chatham.
Donna holds a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University and in 2010 completed the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Institute. She also is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Southside.
Amy joined the Chamber of Commerce in November 2016, focused on the development of a regional tourism platform. She identifies and markets tourism assets in Danville and Pittsylvania County, including maintaining the tourism website and social media accounts. After graduating with her B.A. in Communication Studies/Journalism from Averett University, she worked at the Danville Welcome Center. She then worked as Web and Publications Specialist for James City County, ensuring accuracy throughout publications and the County website, before returning to her Pittsylvania County roots. Amy is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Southside.
President & CEO
Alexis Ehrhardt is the President & CEO of the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce, where her work focuses on serving the business community to make a stronger Dan River Region. Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Career Competitiveness at Averett University. Raised in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Rockville, MD, Alexis has lived in the region since 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Emory University, a Master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Virginia, and a doctorate in Leadership Studies from Lynchburg College.
Alexis enjoys serving on the Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, the City of Danville’s Transportation Advisory Committee and the Dan River Region Health Collaborative. She is the current president of Riverview Rotary.
Business Services Manager
Allison Moore joined the Chamber in 2016. In her current role, she connects local employers with workforce development resources helpful to their advancement and growth. A native of Pittsylvania County, Allison lived and worked in the Roanoke area before moving back to the County in 2011. Her 20 years of marketing, communications and business experience span multiple sectors, including advanced manufacturing, print journalism, education and finance. Most recently, Allison served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for American National Bank and Trust Company. She is an alumna of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (now the School of Media and Journalism) at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. An active member of Southside Virginia Society for Human Resource Management, Allison serves on several workforce-related advisory boards. She is passionate about contributing to the economic development of the Dan River Region.
