Congratulations, Leadership Southside Class of 2026!
The Chamber is proud to recognize the graduates of the 34th class of Leadership Southside at the upcoming Annual Awards Banquet on June 11, 2026, at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research.
With the largest class to date of 54 participants, this class has spent the last 10 months building meaningful relationships with one another, deepening their understanding of their own leadership styles, and developing the skills and perspective needed to lead more effectively within their organizations and across the region.

The Chamber, as we know it today, was officially formed on July 1, 2001, following the merger of the former Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce.

Forums Will Give Voters the Opportunity to Hear from Candidates

The Danville Pittsylvania Chamber of Commerce will host a free event for the public featuring candidates running for Pittsylvania County Treasurer, Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors, and Pittsylvania County School Board. The format will feature five minutes of comments by each candidate followed by two rapid fire questions prepared by the Chamber’s Legislative Committee.
