Anne Moore- Sparks

Anne is a proud Danville native and a graduate of George Washington High School and Averett University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. With a strong background in both the public and private sectors, Anne most recently served Danville Public Schools in various roles, including community engagement and business partnership specialist, teacher quality specialist, and director of the Danville Public Schools Education Foundation. Prior to that, she worked as a project manager for Gateway Health and the City of Danville’s Office of Economic Development, where she played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Downtown and Tobacco Warehouse historic districts.

A passionate advocate for the region's growth, Anne is thrilled to lead the Chamber during a period of substantial growth and transformation. Having grown up in the community, she is deeply committed to fostering an environment that supports business development, job creation, and long-term economic sustainability.

As President of the Chamber, Anne is focused on strengthening the Chamber's role as a central driver of economic vitality in the region. She is dedicated to enhancing the Chamber's programs and services to meet the evolving needs of the 600+ members and the broader business community. Through active collaboration with stakeholders, Anne aims to expand the Chamber’s influence as a respected thought leader, convener, and advocate for the region’s business interests, while ensuring its financial health and growth.

Anne is also a graduate of Lead Virginia (Class of 2024), VRLI (Virginia Rural Leadership Institute), Leadership Southside, and the Sorenson Institute's Emerging Leaders Program. These experiences further fueled her ability to foster collaboration and leadership within the community. In 2025, she was inducted into the inaugural Hall of Fame Class for George Washington High School for exceptional service to the community.

Keddra Walker

Director of Programs & Events

As the Director of Programming & Events, Keddra Walker brings creativity, organization, and a deep commitment to community engagement to the Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she oversees the planning and execution of programs and events that strengthen connections among members, promote local businesses, and enhance the Chamber’s presence throughout the region.

With a background in program coordination and relationship building, Keddra is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that drive collaboration and growth. Her leadership focuses on developing initiatives that reflect the Chamber’s mission and support its members’ success.

Keddra is a native of Pittsylvania County and a graduate of Dan River High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Radford University; a Master of Public Health from Eastern Virginia Medical School; and a Master of Business Administration from Averett University. Keddra enjoys traveling, reading, working jigsaw puzzles, and singing.

Karmen Teague Harris

Director of Operations & Finance

Karmen Teague Harris is a Danville native and experienced human resources and operations leader with a strong background in financial management, staffing, compliance, and organizational administration. With more than a decade of leadership experience, she brings a disciplined, solutions-focused approach to operational excellence and fiscal stewardship.

Karmen has led workforce management initiatives, overseen payroll and accounts processes, strengthened internal controls, and supported accurate financial reporting. Her background in staffing and legal administration sharpened her expertise in regulatory compliance, documentation integrity, and confidentiality. She is known for building structured systems that enhance efficiency, accountability, and service.

She holds an Associate’s Degree from Liberty University, completed undergraduate coursework in Business Administration–Human Resources, and has earned advanced certification in Early Childhood Development.

A proud mother of three and an active civic leader, Karmen is a member of the Garden Club of Danville and The Wednesday Club, and serves as a member of Friends of the George Washington High School Orchestra. In her personal time, she enjoys gardening and photography.
