Apply for Leadership Southside
Leadership Southside develops participants' leadership skills to strengthen their role as an individual, professional, and community member. Sessions have included orientation, leadership skills and development, team building, community issues and opportunities, crisis leadership, board leadership and communication in a nonprofit organization, effecting change, cultural diversity, and effective facilitation.
Sessions are held on the second Tuesday of each month from September - April.
1. Complete this Participant Application in Google Forms.
2. Email your current résumé/CV to Rachel Covington.
3. Forward this Employer Commitment Form to your supervisor so he/she can (1) provide a leadership recommendation and (2) confirm your commitment to the program.
Applications are due by midnight on Friday, August 3, 2018.
A non-refundable tuition of $995 will be required to complete the program. Limited financial assistance may be available upon request.
Participants must commit to all day attendance at each monthly session from September to April. Any participant missing more than one program day is ineligible to graduate. Participants are responsible for all transportation. There may be at least one overnight stay required by participants during the course of the program.
