Early Bird Registration Ends Wednesday!
Sign up by July 1st to take advantage of the Southside Show-Biz Trade Show’s early bird registration. This year’s trade show will be held on Thursday, October 15, at the Institute for Advanced Learning & Research. Hampton Inn in Gretna to Host Business After Hours
Join us on Thursday, July 9, at the Hampton Inn in Gretna for Business After Hours. The band Diamond Back will be performing from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. A Moveable Feast will be catering the event. Fasten your Seatbelts for Speed Networking at VIR
The Chamber will hold a Speed Networking event at VIRginia International Raceway on Tuesday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m. Not familiar with the concept of Speed Networking? Consider this. When was the last time you went to a networking event and met 20 people? If you find that meeting NEW people at a traditional mixer is challenging, you won’t want to miss out on Speed Networking. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a social hour (with a cash bar available) to reconnect, collect a business card or two and enjoy light refreshments. Registrations are limited to 20 and will be accepted on a first come—first served basis with no direct competitors admitted. There will be a $10 fee for registration. Young Professionals to Hold Mexican Fiesta This Thursday
The Young Professionals Committee of the Chamber is planning a Fiesta for area young professionals on Thursday, July 2, from 6-8 p.m. at San Marcos Mexican Restaurant in Coleman Marketplace in Danville. There will be games and prizes! You must be 21 to attend and ID’s are required! The cost is $8 per person and should be paid at the door. Reservations are requested and can be made with the Chamber at chamber@dpchamber.org.
